The Midland Ozone baseball team won the state championship on July 21, in Union.  As state champions, Midland qualified for the Ozone World Series, according to Carolyn Lowman of Midland Baseball. Midland plays its games in Pine Ridge.

The World Series opening ceremonies start at 7:30pm Friday 8/5/22 in Lumberton, NC. Midland’s first game is Saturday 8/6/22 at 3:15 p.m.
