The Meeting Street Music Fest took place in West Columbia Saturday. Featuring West Columbia’s own Hampton Hook and the Headliner, who played into the night Sugar Ray. Other bands included: Katie DeMartini; Reggie Graves and Jazz Theory; Knights of Flannel; Guardians of the Jukebox ; Flatland Express Bluegrass Band; The Ramblers; Brittany Turnipseed ; and Carolina Bluegrass Style. The crowd swelled to the size of large as the day progressed into night.

There was also a vendors market, dance lessons by Bill’s Pickin’ Parlor and a pet pool presented by Whetzel’s Automotive Repair. The day was hot, but a strong breeze made it nice in the afternoons, and the evening shows played under perfect-weather skies.
