Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual found deceased following a residential structure fire. The fire was in Pelion in the 500 block of Tindal Road. It began just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to Fisher, Mr. James A. Moore II, 33, of Pelion was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the fire. Mr. Moore was the only occupant of the home.

South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are investigating.
