Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the victim of a residential structure fire that occurred in the 400 block of Gardners Terrace Road, Tuesday evening.

The blaze occurred just before 7:30 p.m. One Lexington County Fire Services firefighter was treated for minor injuries and cleared on scene.

According to Fisher, Mr. Stanley Gonzalez Cook, a 51-year-old resident of the home, was pronounced dead on scene. An autopsy will be scheduled.
SLED, as is common woth fire fatalities, is investigating the incident.
