Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the person who died in a two-vehicle accident in the 1500 block of South Lake Drive, Lexington, at approximately 11:45 a.m. on August 8.

According to Fisher, Mr. Charles Richard Custar, 59, of Clover, was traveling southbound on South Lake Drive when he made an improper lane change, struck a vehicle also traveling southbound on South Lake Drive, and overturned. Mr. Custar, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. 

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate
the incident.
