Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died as a result of a fire that occurred in the Acapulco Campground in the Leesville area of Lexington County on Tuesday September 9, shortly after 2 AM.

According to Fisher, Mr. Jeffrey Morris Williamson, 50, of Blythewood, was transported to the Augusta Burn Center where he was pronounced dead on Wednesday, September 10, due to injuries he sustained in the fire.

The incident is under investigation by the Lexington County Fire Service, Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, and the ATF.
