Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who was killed in a single-vehicle accident that occurred just before 3:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Church Street, in Gaston, Saturday.

According to Fisher, Mr. Demetrius A. Holman, 39, of St. Matthews was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries.

Mr. Holman was traveling north on Church Street when his vehicle went off of the left side of the road and he over corrected, causing the vehicle to flip multiple times.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
