Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher, has identified the individual who died in a single-vehicle accident on Crystal Springs Dr. in Pelion shortly after 1 a.m., Sunday.

 According to Fisher, Mr. Andres I. Oseguera Gonzalez, 38, of Pelion was traveling westbound on Crystal Springs Dr. when the vehicle he was driving ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree. Mr. Oseguera, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene due to the injuries sustained. A passenger in the vehicle, who was also wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
