Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a home fire that occurred in the 700 block of Westside Drive in West Columbia shortly after 6:30 a.m., Monday.

According to Fisher, Mr. Arthur Holladay, 67, of West Columbia was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead due to injuries he sustained in the fire.

The incident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division as well as the West Columbia Police Department.
