Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a single-vehicle accident that occurred in the 700 block of Brodie Road in Leesville.

According to Fisher, Mr. Nicholus Maurice Brown, 44, of Leesville was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries. Mr. Brown, who was not wearing a seat belt, was traveling northbound when his vehicle left the right side of the road and overturned. The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
