Man dies after running off the road and hitting tree in Lexington

Lexington County Coroner, Margaret Fisher, has identified the individual who died in a single-vehicle accident in the 600 block of Founders Road in Lexington shortly before 3 p.m., Tuesday.

According to Fisher, Mr. Tavon T. Blazek-Hill, 26, of Gaston was traveling southbound on Founders Road when the vehicle he was driving ran off the left side of the road, striking a tree, and overturning. Mr. Blazek-Hill, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident
