Able Ramirez-Ortega, 37, has been charged with two counts of felony DUI in the deaths of 22-year-old Claire Ann Pierce of Lexington and 21-year-old Eliza Jane Udy of Leesville, according to the SC Highway Patrol. Click here to see Coroners Report

The crash that killed the two happened around 8:58 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Neely Wingard and Ben Franklin Roads, about eight miles east of Batesburg-Leesville.

Ramirez-Ortega, who listed his home as West Columbia, was being held at the Lexington County Detention Center. He has been denied bond. .
