Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a single-vehicle collision on Main Street near Railroad Avenue in the Pelion area of Lexington County at approximately 2:05 p.m., Sunday.

 According to Fisher, Mr. Keith Thomas Saylor, 58, of Swansea was traveling westbound on Main Street when his vehicle left the right side of the road striking a tree. Mr. Saylor, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.

The Pelion Police Department and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.
