Love A Cup Bakery opened last Saturday at 2213 Augusta Road in West Columbia.

The new bakery is beside Moe’s Southwest Grill, near the Chick-Fil-A.

Cindy Curry is the owner of Love A Cup. She said has always loved baking and finally got the chance to open her bakery when her youngest child graduated from high school. Curry earned a pastry chef degree in Atlanta at Le Cordon Bleu. She was in the healthcare profession before training to become a baker.

Love A Cup Bakery has cupcakes, brownies, cannoli, scones, and macarons. If you want something that is not sweet, there are salads, soups, quiches and other menu items.

Love A Cup is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
