Early voting began in Lexington County. And in West Columbia, Tuesday, the line was long, according to Lainie Lewis.

“Well I’m standing in line at the West Columbia Community Center to vote! And things seem to be moving,” posted Lewis, who owns State Street Trading Company. She said she eventually got in and cast her vote.

You can vote absentee at West Columbia Community Center at 754 B Avenue.

There are several other locations open for absentee voting in Lexington County. The General Election is Tuesday (Nov. 3.)
