Power was out along the Sunset Boulevard corridor in West Columbia Monday morning. The Food Lion had no power and traffic lights were not working. Homes in Westover Acres were without power too. The power outage occurred around 9:20 a.m. West Columbia Police and a West Columbia Fire truck were on the scene.

Crews from Dominion Energy were on a construction site beside Sunset Court, working on power lines. Power was restored about 9:40 a.m.
