The Lexingotn YMCA family center in Red Bank, off of old Orangeburg Road, is closing.

It has been open for more than 60 years of providing the Lexington community with its services. But lately the Y has not been generating enough revenue because not enough people have been using it.
The Lexington Y will officially close on Dec. 20.

The Y sits on a 160-acre tract that is being sold so that houses can be built on the property.
