A three-vehicle collision on Augusta Road (US-1) at Cedar Road, in Lexington, closed the road for a while Saturday, according to the Lexington Police Department.

The cars were removed from the road and all lanes have reopened about 1:30 Saturday afternoon.

The cause of the collision was from a driver failing to yield the right of way during a turn across traffic. according to the LPD.
