The Lexington Police Department worked a collision on West Main Street (US-1) and Columbia Avenue (US-378) Friday around 5 p.m. The crashed resulted in an inbound lane being closed. The wreck was caused by a driver failing to yield the right of way during a lane change, said police.

Lexington Police reported officers had been dispatched to several collisions where drivers told dispatch that they weren’t watching and rear-ended the vehicle in front of them.
