Lexington Police responded to a collision, Friday afternoon on West Main Street (US-1) at Third Avenue. It resulted in all lanes of Main Street being closed. Traffic was detoured through the RADIUS Church and old Bank of America parking lots. The road was reopened when the site was cleared.
The collision was caused by a driver failing to yield the right of way.
