Thursday afternoon at approximately 2:45 p.m., two white males were working together to steal a catalytic converter from a box truck parked at Michaelis Mattress on Columbia Avenue in the Town of Lexington.

An employee saw them in the act of the attempted theft and they fled from the scene in a green SUV. The damages were estimated at $400 and those with information can contact Detective Heath at 803-951-4642.
