Lexington Police investigating shooting at apartment complex

Officers are on scene of a shooting that happened at Building 500 at the Reserve at Old Mill Apartments on East Main Street. A man was shot and transported from the scene by EMS to the hospital.

Investigators/CSI are at Building 500 and residents in apartments 511, 512, 513, and 514 will be unable to get to their apartments for several hours. All other residents of Building 500 can return to their apartments.

Two black males, dressed in all black clothing, ran from complex and have left the area. The area is now safe and investigators will be on this scene for several hours.
