A license plate violation turned into a failure to stop for blue lights incident, a foot chase, arrest, and a follow-up K-9 search. Lexington Police officers found illegal narcotics, including marijuana and over 100 Ecstasy pills, drug paraphernalia, an open container of beer, and the driver was driving under suspension.
Proactive traffic enforcement goes a long way in keeping our community safe. It is part of the Lexington Police Department’s ongoing strategic plan to lower crime and increase traffic safety throughout the Town of Lexington.
