Officers of the Lexington Police Department are investigating a fatal traffic collision involving a

pedestrian that occurred in the 500 block of Gibson Road in Lexington on Wednesday, at approximately 12:50 p.m.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the pedestrian who was killed in the collision as Ellie Jerome McLeod Jr. of Lexington.

The Lexington Police Department continues to investigate the collision and is asking for anyone who may have additional information to please contact Major Matt Davis at 803-359-6260.
