Lexington Medical Center changes visitors policy after spike in COVID cases
Lexington Medical Center has changed its emergency room policy for visitors.
No visitors will be allowed in the emergency waiting room.
And after a patient receives a room assignment, only one visitor is allowed for non-COVID patients.
Parents or guardians are allowed to accompany patients under the age of 18 in the lobby.
Visitors must stay in the patient’s exam room at all times and may help settle the patient into his or her inpatient room if admitted.
Lexington Medical Center encourages all eligible individuals to receive a COVID vaccine.
Lexington Medical Center’s vaccine clinic is open 7 days a week. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are encouraged.
