Lexington man arrested for solicitation of minor

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Jason Glenn Jordan (DOB: 1987) of Lexington, on three charges connected to sexual exploitation of minors. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Office, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, made the arrest. 

Investigators say Jordan, a registered sex offender, solicited sex from a minor via social media and sent sexually explicit images

Jordan was arrested on March 23, He is charged with charged with one count of Criminal Solicitation of a Minor,  a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years; and two  counts of Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor 18 Years or Younger, a felony offense punishable by up to ten years imprisonment. 

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.

Attorney General Wilson stressed all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
