Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a single- vehicle accident. It occurred in the 4500 block of Pond Branch Road at approximately 6 a.m. Sunday.

According to Fisher, Ms. Rhonda Rebecca Hartley, 30, of Leesville was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the accident. Ms. Hartley’s vehicle crossed the center line, left the road to the left, and struck a tree.

Ms. Hartley was not wearing a seatbelt when the incident occurred. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
