The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal shooting that happened in West Columbia Friday night. Deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 100 block of Riverbend Drive around 11 p.m.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found one gunshot victim who later died from his injuries. That victim has been identified as 27-year-old Corey Jamison, according to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.
