The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is in the early phases of a death investigation near Broad Street in Gilbert. Investigators will likely be in the area most of the evening. There is no threat to the community associated with this case. The LCSD reported the investigation around 7 p.m. Thursday. No more information was available at the time.
