The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department has started a death investigation, Tuesday around 7 p.m., after a body was found in a pond in the 200 block of Crossbow Drive, in the Harbison area of Lexington County.

Detectives and a dive team members have been dispatched to the scene.

Neighbors should expect to see Sheriff’s Department personnel and vehicles in the neighborhood for much of the evening. No additional information is available at this time.
