A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing on Emanuel Church Road. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department reported the incident around 2 p.m., Wednesday. And 49-year-old Tony Washington of Cayce has been arrested in the case. He’s being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.

Deputies confirmed that a man was stabbed after they arrived on scene about 6:30 Wednesday morning. The victim’s medical team told the LCSD that he’s expected to make a full recovery. Deputies believe it was an isolated incident between two people with a previous connection. Work will continue on the case.
