The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department identified Justin Brandon McCrae, 26, as the suspect in a West Columbia shooting death, Saturday. McCrae is charged with murder in the shooting death of a man in Riverbend Apartments Saturday evening. Mr. Bradley Freeman Tucker, 24, of West Columbia, has been identified as the man who died due to multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body at a Riverbend apartment complex late Saturday night. .

McCrae is also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He’s being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.

Lexington County deputies have arrested a suspect in a shooting investigation.

The man was arrested shortly after the Saturday evening shooting at Riverbend Apartments off North Lucas Street in West Columbia.

Major crimes detectives have interviewed those who live near the scene. Crime scene investigators have processed the scene and collected potential evidence.
