Lexington County man sentenced to 5 years in prison for possessing child sexual abuse material, drugs, and resisting arrest
Attorney General Alan Wilson announces that a Lexington County man has been sentenced to five years in prison for possessing child sexual abuse material, drugs, and resisting arrest.
On Monday, Jordan Keith Agee pleaded guilty to Resisting Arrest, Possession of Less Than 1 Gram of Methamphetamine/Cocaine Base, and four counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor – 3rd Degree. Agee was the subject of multiple investigations by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, beginning in early 2022. On January 11, 2022, while investigators were attempting to serve an arrest warrant, Agee pulled away from officers and fled on a motorcycle. On March 16, 2022, Agee was found to have less than one gram of methamphetamine while at his residence in West Columbia.
The substance was located in his bookbag and Agee admitted to having methamphetamine. Later in March 2022, after receiving a CyberTip about an account associated with Jordan Agee that was uploading child sexual abuse material, investigators executed a search warrant at his home. Investigators seized several devices and reviewed the contents of Agee’s online data storage account. Investigators located several images of prepubescent girls, most of whom appeared to be between 6 and 12 years old, engaged in sexual activity with adults or appearing in a state of sexually explicit nudity. Additional images were located on his devices.
On the four charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor – 3rd Degree, Judge Daniel Coble in Lexington County sentenced Agee to five years in prison. On the charge of Possession of Less Than One Gram of Methamphetamine/Cocaine Base, Judge Coble sentenced Agee to three years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections. On the charge of Resisting Arrest, Judge Coble sentenced Agee to 763 days in the Lexington County Detention Center with credit for 763 already days served. These sentences are to be served at the same time. He will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release. He consented to the forfeiture of his devices.
