Lexington Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson today announced the arrest of Donald Morris Price, 45, of Leesville on multiple charges connected to sexual exploitation of a minor and criminal sexual conduct with a minor. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, made the arrest. Investigators with the Attorney General’s Office assisted with the investigation.
Investigators discovered images containing child pornography were distributed from an address linked to Price. A search warrant was executed at Price’s residence and multiple electronic devices were seized for examination. Review of those items uncovered numerous pictures and videos depicting Price engaging in sex acts with a minor victim.
Price was arrested on Oct. 25, 2016. He is charged with:
- Eight counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, First Degree (§16-15-395) a felony offense punishable by up to 20 years imprisonment on each count;
- One count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Second Degree (§16-15-405) a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment;
- Four counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, First Degree (§16-3-655(A)(1)) a felony offense punishable by up to 25 years imprisonment on each count; and
- One count of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Third Degree (§16-3-655(C)) a felony offense punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment.

Attorney General Wilson stresses all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
