Tropical Storm Hermine is expected to come inland and it could douse the Lexington County area with lots of rain, Friday.

The storm could also bring heavy winds. Some state agencies are preparing for trouble as the storm approaches. The weather is expected to clear up beginning Saturday.

Flash flooding is possible, but extensive flooding is not likely. As the storm moves toward us- officials are warning that any flood waters can be dangerous and destructive.

Much of the rain and wind from Hermine should be gone by Sunday according to the National Weather Service. On Saturday, expect temperatures in the upper 80s with partly cloudy skies.
