Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the identity of a woman who was shot outside of Bojangles in the 100 block of Harbison Blvd in the Columbia area of Lexington County on Thursday.

Fisher states that Mrs. Antoinette Michelle Hammonds-Colon, 40, of Columbia, was transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced dead on Friday. An autopsy has been scheduled for 8 a.m, Monday, at MUSC in Charleston.

The Columbia Police Department and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.
