Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the identity of the person who was killed in a single motorcycle accident that occurred on June 28, 2026 at approximately 2:35 A.M. on I-77 at the I-26 Interchange at MM 1 in Lexington County.

Fisher states that Mr. Pablo Marcelo Caballero Molina, 21, of Hopkins, S.C was operating a motorcycle traveling Southbound on I-77 just after MM1 at a high rate of speed when he struck a concrete barrier and was ejected. Mr. Caballero Molina was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries he received in the accident.

The accident remains under the investigation of the South Carolina Highway Patrol as well as the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
