Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the person who died in a motorcycle vs. vehicle accident in the 1700 block of S. Lake Drive in the Lexington area of Lexington County, Tuesday.

According to Fisher, Mr. Nathan Scott Ash, 20, of Pelion was traveling eastbound on S. Lake Drive when he struck a vehicle traveling westbound on S. Lake Drive. Mr. Ash, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.
