Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on Frontage Road near Commerce Drive along the 113 westbound of the I-16 exit ramp in the Cayce area of Lexington County at approximately 4:24 a.m., Wednesday.

According to Fisher, Mr. Curt Alan Davis, 49, of Cayce was crossing Frontage Road on the 113
westbound exit ramp when he was struck by a vehicle.

Mr. Davis was pronounced dead on scene due to the injuries he sustained. The driver remained on scene and was not injured.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the City of Cayce Police Department continue to investigate
the incident.
