Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the identity of a man who was shot outside of his residence in the 2400 block of Glenn Road in the Gaston area of Lexington County, Tuesday.

Fisher states that Mr. John Darrick Rumph, 53, of Gaston, was pronounced dead on scene due
to a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office continue to
investigate this incident.
