Lexington County Coroner identifies man who died in motorcycle crash

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a vehicle collision that occurred in the 5100 block of Platt Springs Road. It happened at approximately 3:15 p.m., Sunday.
According to Fisher, Mr. Leonard P. Morrow, 70, of Lexington was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Morrow was travelling on a motorcycle when a vehicle that had just entered the road crossed through the median and collided with him head-on. Mr. Morrow was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.  The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
