Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a vehicle vs. golf cart accident in the 600 block of Huckabee Mill Road in the Swansea area of Lexington County at
approximately 10:39 A.M. on Wednesday.

According to Fisher, Mr. Christopher Dean Hoffman, 51, of Swansea was operating a golf cart
traveling southbound on Huckabee Mill Road when he was struck by a vehicle. Mr. Hoffman was
pronounced dead on scene due to the injuries sustained in the accident.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate
the incident.
