Lexington Two schools and offices will open on a two-hour delayed start on Tuesday, Feb. 3.  The two-hour delay will provide more daylight for drivers on their morning routes.

While classes will start two hours later than the normal schedule, afternoon dismissal will be at the normal time.

• Staff should arrive two hours later than their normal school day start time.
• Students should arrive two hours later than the normal morning start time.  
• Students in 3K half-day child development classes will not meet. 
• Breakfast and lunch will be served at schools.

All district athletic events, after-school programs, extracurricular activities and adult education classes will go on as scheduled Tuesday, though families should check with their coaches, advisers, and schools to confirm schedules.
