Lexington 2 in-person job fairs begin this month

From Dawn Kujawa – Lexington Two Communications – Job candidates interested in Lexington Two teaching positions will have the option of scheduling one-on-one in-person sessions starting this month at their schools of interest or meeting virtually.

The choice of options for candidates will replace the traditional district-wide recruiting event amid COVID-19, for those seeking teaching opportunities in the 2021-22 school year.

Teaching candidates — who must register in advance — will be able to go to the schools they’re interested in and meet with the administrative team.  Advance registration will allow for ample time between candidates in the building at any one time.

Here is a tentative schedule of in-person teacher fairs at schools, set for 4 p.m.-6 p.m., starting in February:

Elementary Schools

  • Cayce Elementary (#TeachCayce): February 16
