Units from the West Columbia Fire Department and the West Columbia Police Department reported, around 3:45 p.m. Sunday, that emergency response teams were on the scene of an incident in 2900 Block of August Road near the Lowes.
Power lines were down in the road. All lanes are shut down and traffic is being diverted. Please avoid the area. The WCFD reported all lanes were open by 4:23 p.m., Sunday. (WCFD photo)
