The South Carolina Department of Transportation is closing a single-lane on I-26 Westbound between Exit 97 (Peak) and Exit 85 (SC 202) effective Monday, Mar. 2 through Thursday, Mar. 5. between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The lane closings have been scheduled to mark out necessary repairs on I-26 as a part of the SCDOT Midlands Connection Project to improve I-26 from Little Mountain to Irmo.

SCDOT reminds the pubic to take caution when traveling through work zones.
