Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the victim of an accidental drowning that took place in Lake Murray on Saturday.

Ramon Priestino, 76, of Columbia was swimming with his family in the Palm Point Drive area, near his residence, when the incident occurred. It happened at approximately 2 p.m.  An autopsy has been scheduled for Sunday.

The incident remains under investigation by SCDNR and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
