Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the autopsy findings regarding Mr. Timothy Peele, whose body was recovered from Lake Murray Tuesday.

Mr. Peele, 51, of Irmo put his boat in at a public boat ramp near the Lake Murray Dam at approximately 6:30 a.m., and the boat was discovered unmanned in the same area a short time later, which prompted a search for him.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department recovered Mr. Peele’s body nearby at approximately 11 a.m. The findings of an autopsy, conducted Wednesday, determined that Mr. Peele’s death was the result of a medical event; therefore, his death has been ruled as natural.
