After more than 30 years in football, Airport High School Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Kirk Burnett is stepping down, according to a Airport High School Tweet. He is an Airport grad.

Burnett has been AHS athletic director and head football coach for the last 18 years. He plans to stay on staff at Airport in a different capacity. Airport is looking for a replacement for Burnett. Kirk Burnett photo below from Airport High School.
