“There are several businesses in our organization who will be participating in Kinetic Derby Day,” said Steve Cohen, president of the WECO River District Merchants Association. “Several businesses are sponsoring a soap box car and other businesses could possibly set up vending booths in their parking lot.”

“Right now we know that D’s Wings, Nordan and Foster Custom Upholstery, State Street Trading Co. and Something Borrowed will sponsor a soap box car,” Cohen said. “These are all WECO River District businesses and they want to make sure the visitors on Kinetic Derby Day get the chance to see their names. We are thankful that the City of West Columbia provides an event Kinetic Derby Day and the chance to find out about what we have to offer.”
